Exhausted with Autism

Dear Doctors and Teachers. Please don’t ignore children with autism who also have Lyme. You may see his fatigue or hypotonia as signs of autism, even his depression and anger as also part of autism. You may force him to exercise when he can’t stand up much less move around. Take it from me, it is physical and emotional torture to make a child endure exercise or run around a gym when his legs feel like there are weights on his legs. Autism and Lyme go together and deserve to be treated. Once you treat the Lyme, that child will have that energy again, but you have to go in there and search for all the things ticks carry. Please don’t let our kids suffer, but give them customized excercise at whatever pace they can do. Children with Lyme and autism need a adapted PE where can work at their own pace. I know what it’s like because I have it and this is what happened to me by teachers and doctors who said I was making up the fatigue or not really that tired. I really was. I was exhausted from head to toe. Please give our kids and their parents a break. Thanks.   Share...

Introductions

Breaking the Autism Code will give you the keys to figure out what behaviors are clues to your child’s pain and that is the first step to wellness. These insights grow out Cindy’s experiences partly recovering her twins, and learning about her own biology and sensitivities.  Although she does not have autism, the same underlying medical conditions and immune challenges affected her and her children. When you cannot speak you cannot tell the world how you feel but you still do your best to express your feelings and frustrations. Cindy could explain this in great detail because she lived it. Children on the spectrum will act it out in what experts describe as typical autism behaviors.  She wrote this book to explain this to parents so that they know and understand how their children became the way they are and why they are reacting the way they do. Cindy has worked in a variety of settings, including IT, and as an editor and writer at Astra Merck, where she learned the inside process of drug approval submission. She was also a liason for the Freedom of Information Act at the Defense Energy Support Center, retrieving and redacting documents to be released to the public.  These experiences supported her ability to research and retrieve information that might be considered controversial. When she had her identical twins, she began to study autism and found help for her own medical problems too. These twins slipped slowly away with each vaccine but noticeably so after the MMR vaccine. They may both have had autism but their symptoms were vastly different because sometimes things...
